Desktop Computers

  • There are 35 PC computers and 2 Macs on the main floor and in the study carrels of Renfro Library, connected to the MHU network.
  • You must save your work to your OneDrive or to a flash drive you bring with you.
  • DO NOT save work to the library computer itself. When you log off, your work will be erased, and cannot be recovered.
  • Please use headphones at a reasonable level to listen to audio on library computers. The speakers are disabled.

Laptops

  • Renfro Library has 3 Windows laptops and 1 MacBook for student use in the library.
  • Laptops may not be removed from the library.
  • To use a library laptop, you must have a signed laptop contact on file. (Ask at the Circulation Desk.)
  • You must save your work to your OneDrive or to a flash drive you bring with you.

  • Laptops may be borrowed for 4 hours.
  • For every hour or portion of an hour that a laptop is overdue, a fine of $5.00 will be added to your account.

Cell Phones and Audio Devices

Please be considerate of others around you!

  • Put your devices on silent or vibrate.
  • Use headphones or earbuds at a level at which only you can hear.
  • Have phone conversations outside or in Mindspace.

Photocopies and Printing

  • Currently, there is no charge for MHU students, faculty and staff to make photocopies or to use the printers.
  • Use PawPrints, in Cornwell Hall, for non-academic printing (flyers, posters, etc.) and for very large numbers of copies.
  • Renfro Library’s printers are B/W only. However, Mindspace has a color printer.
  • During the school year, the printer in Mindspace is available 24/7, even when the Library is closed.

Wireless Password

  • To connect to Wi-Fi, the password is mhillwireless.

Listening Room

  • A dedicated listening room is located on the main floor next to the Research Assistance desk.
  • Audio capabilities include LP and CD listening
  • Headphones are available in the listening room, or may be checked out at the Circulation Desk. You may also bring your own.
